Under his leadership and direction, SMR has grown from a sole proprietorship to a company involved with multi-million-dollar, award-winning projects throughout the U.S. The firm’s portfolio includes hundreds of projects with a cumulative construction cost of more than $3.5 billion.

The experience which Mehdi brings to the firm is multi-faceted. He has worked on a variety of projects over the past 40 years for clients in the private and public sectors. Project building types include campus dormitories, military barracks, aircraft maintenance hangars, fitness centers, rehabilitation centers, clinics, office buildings, schools, parking structures, dining facilities, and more. Mehdi is also experienced in the area of Code and Structural Safety review for the California Division of the State Architect.
